How To Get More Impressions To Your Fiverr Gig

Impressions are the number of views your receive on Fiverr. In search rank if someone searches a particular service on the Fiverr search bar or if someone trying to find a service browsing through a particular category or maybe they are using another Fiverr in-built tool to find the service they are looking for and the buyer sees your gig and it counts as an impression. So simply impressions mean the total number of views your gig receives.

Getting ranked on Fiverr or being visible in a search position depends on many factors. The position you gain on Fiverr is not permanent. It keeps on changing. Even if you achieve a good search rank it doesn’t mean it is going to last long. It is completely normal to see your gig changing its position continuously on Fiverr. I recommend you create multiple gigs which allow your gigs to appear more often in search results and increase the possibility of getting orders.

Most sellers tend to panic when they see their gig impressions drop down and it is just a part of the Fiverr process. You don’t have to wait and it will again improve slowly. You don’t have to update gig description, gig image, etc but if you think that there are things that need to be changed then change them. Otherwise, if you believe that you have done everything correctly then leave the gigs as they are.

Here are some tips to improve your fiverr gig impressions

1. Gig Title

A gig title plays a vital role in improving your gig impressions. Your gig title should include the top keywords that people are searching to find your service. The gig title should be attractive enough to grab the attention of the buyers. If you are creating your gig for the first time keep in mind that your gig title is going to be your URL and it can’t be changed again once you published the gig even if you change the gig title. You can use the Fiverr autofill option to identify the popular search terms to use in your gig title,

If you are trying to create a gig in a competitive category then try to select the keywords that are moderately competitive to get better results.

2. Seo Title

Normally this is a hidden feature and most of the sellers ignore or don’t use this option. If you want to optimize your gig then you should consider using this option.

3. Make sure if your gig is in the right category

Some inexperienced sellers place their gigs in the wrong category which prevents their gigs from appearing in search results. So if you are unsure then double-check and confirm if you are in the right correct category. Sometimes Fiverr add new categories to their system so always check if those added categories are suited for your gig if they suit then you should consider adding them to the new category which would increase your gig impressions.

4. Search Tags

You can use 5 search tags. So add the keywords that you use in your gig title to search tags. This way you can optimize your gig for those keywords. Make sure you add all five tags. When you are adding search tags use correct spelling and don’t misspell the words which can affect the gig impressions you receive.

5. Packages

Use the keyword terms in your pricing packages and enable all 3 packages which gives you a better chance to add more keywords to the gig page and optimize your gig page for targeted keywords.

6. Gig description and FAQs

Fiverr gig description is the most important part of your gig page in which you can convert a page visitor to a customer. So must have a simple and straightforward gig description to convince page visitors to take action. Don’t mention your past experience too much try to focus on the benefits that customers get from you when they place an order in your gig.  The gig description and FAQs sections should be used to add your targeted keywords and that is really important while optimizing your gig. Try to be consistent when you add your targeted keywords don’t try to add too many keywords to your gig page. Select 5 keywords and add them throughout your gig page.

7. Don’t be too specific

When you create your gig don’t be too specific about the service you offer because sometimes there might not be enough audience on Fiverr to sell your service which indeed decreases your impressions and sometimes you may not get an order at all. As I mentioned earlier use the Fiverr search bar to find the relevant keywords for your service and target them well through your Fiverr gig page.

8. Be Careful about Fiverr private feedback

If you have been already selling on Fiverr and your gig impressions suddenly drop down then it can be due to Fiverr private feedback. Fiverr send a private feedback form to the buyer once the order has been completed. This feedback is not visible to anyone Fiverr uses this for their internal process. So if your customer sends negative private feedback then it may affect your gig impressions for a long time. Always make sure that you give your best to the customer and satisfy your client 100% by every means.
